What's a Riparian Zone?  It can be complicated but it is basically the area of water on a lake that you can use that no one else can.  How do you know where it is?  It could have been shown on a past survey or you can hire a Land Surveyor like me to help.

When purchasing property ALTA surveys provide comprehensive data to assess Title issues.  Many if not most Title insurers of a commercial sale will require an ALTA Survey. This type of Survey is the most detailed which include Title Exceptions.  Title exceptions are items, liens, potential adverse possession, eminent domain, easements, rights, or even claims that Title Companies will not insure.  I work closely with our clients to provide surveys that meet all local and ALTA minimum standards.

We can help determine the depth of your pond, a river, a lake, or any body of water.  There might be a need to know how much sediment is at the bottom.  You may have water backing up into a body of water.  Without the use of expensive scanners, and for a reasonable fee, if you need to know what is down there, give me a call and lets talk about your project.

Rebuilding or repairing your home after a Flood event you will need to file a Flood Insurance claim.  Standard insurance Policies do not have Flood Insurance.  I am a National Certified Floodplain Surveyor nationally recognized by FEMA. (NCFS-084)  My FEMA flood certificates help you and your insurance company understand your property's flood risk and determine whether flood insurance is necessary.  The goal is to help you save money while protecting your home.  If your property conditions are right, LOMA's can remove part or all of your property from the floodplain.  Lets talk about how I can help.
